About Gadge Roberts

Anti-Socialites is a project by hydraulic piss-weasel and portrait artist Gadge Roberts.

The Son of a Wizard and a 5-seater corner sofa, Gadge grew up in Cheshire, across a field from a graveyard where he would spend his lonely queer childhood painting, watching horror films and sewing clothes out of the husks of his vanquished enemies.

After graduating from LJMU with £30k of debt he hitched a ride to London on an abnormally large wasp where he would work in the textile industry.

Shortly after that, the combination of wearing a bat-winged sleeve and a very strong gust of wind resulted in Gadge landing in The Netherlands where he studied under Dutch portrait artist Ed van der Kooy.

Now back in London, Gadge divides his time between his fine art work at GadgeRoberts.com (click button below) and his concept brand Anti-Socialites.

WTF is Anti-Socialites? And what's that smell?

Anti-Socialites is a queer-owned fashion and homewares brand based in South London.

All the designs begin life as pen and ink drawings by Gadge. They are then printed onto clothing and homeware by independent companies around the UK.

The mission: to bring affordable but high-quality wearables, furnishings and accessories straight to you, featuring the coolest, kitschest anti-heroes you've loved forever.

When you're with us, you're not the strangest person in the room. So go ahead. Get weird!

...And sorry about the smell, I overcooked the broccoli.

Can I buy in person? And who are all these other beauties?

Yes you can! During the Summer you can find me and my lovely team at events and festivals across the UK.

The ever evolving Anti-Team consists of my awesome mohawked events partner M.P, my long suffering husband Tobias, the LEGEND slot - Jemma, Chester native Charles and many more comedy characters from the 70's and 80's.
